Second Saturday at Botanical Gardens Offers Adventures in Chocolate

Feb. 7, 2009 – The St. George Village Botanical Gardens presents Adventures in Chocolate for parents and children from 9 a.m. to noon, Friday, Feb. 14, Valentine's Day.
From where does chocolate come? Who were the first people to use chocolate?
Come to the chocolate workshop to learn about the history of chocolate, grind up real chocolate seeds, create Aztec and Spanish chocolate drinks, and make chocolates to take home.
The cost is $5 per person and includes materials. Ages 5 and up are welcome, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
Reservations required so call 692-2874. Sign up begins at 9 a.m., Monday, Feb. 9.
