Dear Source:
I, once again, shook my head with absolute disgust that Constitutional Delegate Adelbert M. Bryan's behavior and words could be so disrespectful; immature and inappropriate. How can he continually disrupt these meetings and get away with this kind of behavior?
I quote what I read that Bryan said to Sen. Craig Barshinger in this Source article this morning:
"The only compromise I have for you is a stick of dynamite," Bryan said. "You don't come near me."
What I see here is an angry, resentful and bitter man with only one intention: creating as many problems as he can to sabotage any forward movement of this body. There are continual reports that he disrupts; attacks and overall behaves like a small emotionally disturbed boy seeking attention through temper tantrums. I have trouble respecting a group that allows this kind of behavior to constantly continue. It is outright bullying and it should have been stopped a long time ago.
Where is the leadership in this group in putting a stop to this kind of unacceptable and inappropriate behavior? Here we are as a Community attempting to teach our children to express emotions and concerns appropriately and he says this kind of thing in a public Constitutional Convention Meeting? Thank Goodness he did not make his way into our 28th. Legislature. We do not need people like this impeding our great need to resolve problems and move forward as a united Virgin Islands! I sincerely request this body to take action right away to discipline this man. He is both an embarrassment and shame to the common decency of all of the people of our Islands and to the entire body of the Constitutional Convention.
