E.A.S.T. Seeks Volunteers for a Beach Clean Up

The Environmental Association of St. Thomas-St. John in partnership with The Water Island Search and Rescue will host a beach cleanup of Limestone Beach on Water Island beginning at 8 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 25.
Participants should bring comfortable clothes and shoes, sunscreen, and/or a hat, water, lunch and swim gear. E.A.S.T. will provide transportation, garbage bags and gloves.
Transportation from St. Thomas will be by boat, so all participants must pre-register by calling Dalma Simon, activities chairperson, at 774-1837 by Friday, Jan. 23. She will inform volunteers of the departure place and time for Water Island. The return boat to St. Thomas will be at 1 p.m.
