Dec. 14, 2008 – In the late Thursday night action of the St. Croix Region, the Skills and the Rovers played to a 2-2 tie. With both teams trying to keep up with the league-leading and tenth-time defending champion Helenites and the second-place Chelsea, the result was not the best one for either. In the evening's earlier game, the Unique edged the Prankton 3-2. Both teams are in a battle themselves for the cellar position. The Prankton is currently in last place.
