Gallows Bay Merchants to Have Holiday Festival From 6-9 P.M.

The merchants of Gallows Bay are organizing their second annual holiday event, which will be held from 6-9 p.m., on Thursday, Dec. 4. The retail stores and restaurants will be open for business, and there will be entertainment throughout the Gallows Bay area. Many of the retail stores will have special events that night, and customers can shop while being entertained by local talent, such as the Guardians of Culture Moko Jumbies, the Quadrille Dance Troop, Undercover Rock 'n Roll Band, Bully and the Musical Kafooners, and the Santa Cruz Brass Ensemble. Artist Madeleine Meehan will be on hand to capture the special moments in charcoal and pastels.
Undercover Books will feature a double book signing and presentation. Robin Sterns will be at the bookshop promoting and signing her new book, "Say It in Crucian," and John "Ol Chumbucket" Baur will be signing and promoting his book called "The Pirate Life: Unleashing Your Inner Buccaneer." Both authors have a wonderful presentation prepared.
The participating businesses are Anna's Café, Anything Goes Deli, Bank of St. Croix, Cabana Girl, Caribbean Printing & Marketing, CPTC, Coldwell Banker, Computer Solutions, Gallows Bay Hardware, Go Green, Marmarus Management, Marshall & Sterling, Mix It, No Bones Café, Paint 'n Things, Patalidas Designers, Peter Stewart, M.A.c.O.M., Small Wonder, St. Croix Environmental Association, Traveller's Tree, The Case Place, Tropical Therapy, Undercover Books & Gifts and U-Save Pharmacy.
