Lionfish Discovered; Be Very Afraid

Dear Source:

Something has finally happened on st croix that will affect every man woman and child, a lion fish was found at fredriksted pier. I was there when it was captured, we called DPNR and they came and took it. To anyone who eats fish or dives the waters an alarm bell should be going off. This fish is the equivalent of the hurricane of 89, it will for ever change life on st croix, it will eat every small fish we have not just one species all of them, it has no predators and is deadly to humans. So far we have been lucky and none have been found here, but that all changed.
all crusians must demand that our government take action right now!!! we can't wait if this fish gets established here the sea around st croix will be a wasteland. please call or write the governor/ senators/ DPNR tell them just to check this out, we have to find out if there are more of these invasive fish. if you know fishermen tell them to be leery of any fish that they dont know as these fish carry a deadly poison.
