Nov. 28, 2008 – The Superior Court Rising Stars Youth Steel Orchestra will present its annual Christmas concert, "Sounds of Christmas Joy," at 7 p.m., on Sunday, Dec. 14, at Reichhold Center for the Arts.
The orchestra will perform a variety of music that includes classical, contemporary, calypso and traditional Christmas songs. Featured guest performers will include the Ulla Muller Panatics Steel Band, and vocalists Eugenia Chapman, Detra Davis, Lorna Freeman and Jamal "Brocolli" Williams. There will also be a posthumous tribute to Jacques-Pierre Bertrand.
The tickets are $20 for the covered section; $15 for the middle section; and $10 for the upper Section. They can be purchased at Essentric Boutique, Island Video in Nisky Center, International Records and Tapes on Backstreet, Modern Music in Havensight, VI Bridal and Tuxedo Center Inc., dba Krystal & Gifts Galore in Tutu Park Mall and the Reichhold Center for the Arts box office.
