Dear Source:
My heart was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of George "Bagoon" O'Reilly by my mother, who told me on the phone. It brought back memories I have of him as a child growing up in Golden Rock and well into adult hood. He was always a driven man and had his one true love for the island of St. Croix and her people. He always had a smile on his face and loves to make people laugh out loud. The many cook outs at our home and at the beach parties, my parents had over the years, I remember well. I also remember the many stories my father told, of him and I got to see him in action telling stories, and talking politics especially with my mother and other relatives. I will miss him.
