Nov. 21, 2008 – The results of the St. Thomas Region's Thursday night action at the Lionel Roberts Stadium brought no change to the standings as both the first place New Vibes and the second place Positive Vibes recorded victories. In the nightcap, the New Vibes edged the Laraza 1-0, thanks to an error by the usually safe hands of goalie Carlos Claxton of the Laraza. Claxton failed to prevent a tame free kick by the New Vibes' Vincenzo Alfieri from trickling through his hands. In the earlier game, the Positive Vibes was forced to come from behind, but they did it with ease, manhandling the younger Raymix 5-1. The Raymix led 1-0 at the half on a Mark Frazer goal. In the second half, the Positive Vibes took advantage of a shaky Raymix defense to score all their 5 goals. The Positive Vibes' Keithroy Saddler scored 4 goals, while Collister Fahie scored the other.
Action will continue at 4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 23, at the UVI Grounds when the Raymix face the Central Link.
