Nov. 21, 2008 – Jeanne Jean-Marie, also known as "Sequit," of Frits Lawaetz Homes died on Nov. 15, at her residence. She was 86 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Illuminata, Mearle and Katherine Jean-Marie, Aura Auguste, Elaine Jean-Marie, Edith Pierre and Monica Andrew; son: Martin Hendren Philip; 25 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sons-in-law: Hugh Auguste and Turinie Pierre; sisters: Theresa Descartes, Leania Willie and Irene Benjamin; brothers: Anderson Finisterre, Robert and Gregar Benjamin; special niece, Priscilla Verneige; special nephew, Glenn Cyprian Descarte; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, Nov. 28, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
