Supreme Court Closes for Thanksgiving Holiday

Nov. 20, 2008 – Chief Justice Rhys S. Hodge informs the general public and the members of the V.I. Bar that the Supreme Court of the Virgin Islands will recognize Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, Nov. 27.
The employees of the Supreme Court have been granted administrative leave on Friday, Nov. 28, as well. Accordingly, the court's facilities will be closed on both islands. All filings will be accepted via a secured lockbox at the entrance of the Supreme Court's premises at 1000 Blackbeard's Hill, St. Thomas, and No. 18 Strand Street, Frederiskted, St. Croix.
