WAPA Closing Offices and Standpipes on Saturday

Oct. 31, 2008 – The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority will close its customer services offices throughout the territory on Saturday, Nov. 1, in observation of D. Hamilton Jackson Day. Water standpipes on St. Thomas and St. John will be closed. Automated standpipes on St. Croix will be available between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. throughout the weekend.
Customers can place payments in the drop boxes at the WAPA business offices, pay at local banks, or pay online at www.viwapa.vi. Customer service offices will reopen at 8 a.m., on Monday, Nov. 3; standpipes on St. Thomas and St. John will reopen at 7 a.m.
