Dear Source:
The proliferation of guns on the streets of St. Thomas is completely out of control. The sociopaths/psychopaths, whoever, who shot and paralyzed a wonderful man in a Frenchtown nightclub two weeks ago, who executed this poor, innocent law clerk this week, who fire guns every night in town, have killed our beautiful home. The Lutheran church Reverend, and two others, were severely beaten last month on the steps next to the governor's offices!
What the streets need now are patrols!!! We desperately need the 100 police officers who were supposed to be hired two years ago. Where are they? Not qualified here? Hire from the States, now!
These killers have no souls – they are not even human. Cars must be stopped and inspected; law-abiding citizens should not mind because these guns have to be removed from these crazy people.
Yes, show the film in school, but we desperately need foot and car patrols now! Old San Juan and St. Maarten have police on the streets every night and the towns are filled with happy people, shopping eating…living! We are all in our homes hiding.
