Oct. 30, 2008 – The canine world is coming to the aid of its feline brethren Sunday when island pups will pose for pictures at $100 a pop to support the Humane Society of St. Thomas' Cat Café spay and neuter program.
The event is on the front lawn of Oceana Restaurant in Frenchtown from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Widely recognized professional photographers Don Hebert, Gary Felton and Kelly O'Brien along with Studio 18.3 and Blue Glass Photography are donating their talents to do justice to your pooch, while helping the island's feral cats. The fee includes a sitting, up to one half hour, and one color portrait.

The event is one of many taking place across the country in honor of National Feral Cat Day, to bring awareness to the plight of the stray and feral cats.
The national day was launched by Alley Cat Allies, the national advocate for stray and feral cats, which is the foremost authority on a program called Trap-Neuter-Return, a humane method of care that improves the lives of outdoor cats.
