Soccer Results: Laraza Comes from Behind to Tie

Oct. 29, 2008 – Laraza's Eldon Cole scored with 10 minutes left as his team came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw with the four-time defending champions, the Positive Vibes, in the St. Thomas Region's second-round action Tuesday night at the Lionel Roberts Stadium. The Positive Vibes had lead 1-0 at the half on an Alexis Saddler goal from a penalty kick. The earlier action between the Waitikubuli and the Central Link also ended in a 1-1 draw. The Waitikubuli's David Sorhaindo had given his team a 1-0 lead only to see the Central Link's Howie Williams convert a penalty kick for the equalizer in the dying moments of the game.
Action will continue at 7 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 30, at Roberts Stadium when the Central Link face Positive Vibes and the New Vibes compete against Laraza.
