Sometimes a Beautiful Thing

Dear Source:

I want to make myself clear–my criticism of the constitutional convention is aimed at the ones who would divide us. I applaud the efforts of Craig Barshinger–he has been voice of reason in a desert of backward thinkers.
In an effort to get to know those who are up for election this year, we have been watching the League of Women's Voters interviews of the candidates. We were extremely favorably impressed with Craig during that process, as well as with Shawn Michael Malone and Krim Ballentine. We recently had an opportunity to meet Senator Luis Patrick Hill and were struck by his devotion to the people whom he serves. Thank you League for your important service.
We are regularly impressed with how our government, under the guidance of Governor deJongh is getting to the bottom of major problems. Cudos to DLCA in issuing those subpoenas so we can finally find out why we have been paying so much more for gas–I suspect we aren't going to be doing that much longer.
The age of lawlessness in the VI seems to be coming to a long-awaited end, e.g. Schneider Hospital scandal. Seeing those at "the top" indicted for multiple crimes is refreshing and will put everyone on notice that such behavior will no longer be tolerated.
Government can be good–when we have elected officials minding the public's business and devoting themselves to serving the electorate in meaningful ways, it is a beautiful thing.
