Oct. 23, 2008 – A new-look Positive Vibes defeated the league-leading and previously unbeaten New Vibes 3-0, in the St. Thomas Region action on Tuesday night, at the Lionel Roberts Stadium. The fourth-time defending champions, the Positive Vibes, used several players who were playing their first game for the team this season to avenge a first-round loss to their nemesis.
At the end of the first half, the Positive Vibes lead 1-0, on Collister Fahie's goal. In the second half, they added to their tally on goals by S. Charles and Fahie, as he completed the double.
In the evening's earlier action, the Raymix came from behind to earn a 1-1 tie with the Central Link. The Raymix took advantage of a Central Link's mix up to score the equalizer. At the half, the Central Link had a 1-0 lead on a Dujon Bridgewater goal.
Action will continue at 7 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 23, at the Lionel Roberts Stadium when the Raymix face Laraza followed by the New Vibes vs. Central Link.
