A Missing Friend

Dear Source:
Hello, My name is Gwendolyn Sanderlin, and from time to time, I visit your website in hopes of locating a long lost friend. Her name is Rosaline Carty. I can only hope that the words found in this e-mail will touch the heart of the editor and make it to the pages of your newspaper.Rosaline and I very close friends and attended college in Virginia together for 4.5 years. We where as close as peas and carrots. We entered into the Reserve Office Training Academy during this time as well. We thought that we might gain leadership experience as well as another avenue to assist with funding for our education. Rosaline and I where truly sisters. However, upon graduation we lost touch with each other. I called every phone number I could find; finally I found her living in USVI. She sent me a post card of a beautiful cove…I believe it was called Smugglers Cove. I carried that postcard with me as I traveled about Florida, but somehow as time marched on, I lost it. We didn't have computers then the way we have them now. I've searched long and hard… for my sister Rosaline. I just hope one day we can find each other. True friends are far and few in a lifetime. It's been 22 years since we last spoke. I hope that you can help me find a long lost friend. God Bless. Respectfully yours,
Gwendolyn L. Sanderlin
