Abasi Masuli Furet Dead at 30

Sept. 9, 2008 – Abasi Masuli Furet, better known as "Debo," of Oswald Harris Court died on Sunday, Aug. 28, at his residence. He was 30 years old.
He is survived by his mother, Julia Francis; grandmother, Joan A. Francis-Francis; daughters: Nandi and Abasia Furet; brothers: Afibae Henley and Abasuli Furet; and sisters: Alia and Moniqua Furet, and Indika Liburd. He is also survived by aunts: Diane Francis Marsh, Ruth Francis-Abramson, Debra Wright-Francis, Raquel Francis-Callwood, Lois Furet-Harris, Bryce Furet-Richards, and Etta and Evelyn Edwards; uncles: Julito A. H., Julio III, Julian, Jaime, Juan, Alberto and Neil Furet and Caleb Harris; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m., on Friday, Sept. 12, at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel; a second viewing will take place from 9-10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 13, at the chapel. A funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m., at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 3.
