What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

Sept. 4, 2008 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM from 1-3 p.m., on Sunday, Sept. 7. This Sunday we will feature music by Sugarland, Jeffrey Halford and the Healers, Dick Solberg, Buddy Holly, Chryssie Hynde, Richie Havens and more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "Love on the Inside" from Sugarland. Sugarland charts successfully on the country music charts, but they are willing to be a little edgy and include tracks written by non-country songwriters. The extended CD release includes some fine live tracks.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "Broken Chord" by Americana rockers Jeffrey Halford and the Healers.
We play new music from Travis Moonchild Haddix, Carrie Rodriguez, Richie Havens, Buddy Guy and more.
We also play music from the Wailin Jennies, Dick Solberg, Angela Strehli, the Guess Who and more.
We celebrate the birthdays of Buddy Holly, Little Milton, and Chryssie Hynde of the Pretenders. We remember Warren Zevon and Who drummer Keith Moon on the anniversary of their deaths.
We include music from Joe Ely, who will appear at Tillett Gardens on Jan. 21, 2009.

We give away CDs from singer-songwriters Richard Julian and Christopher Smith and CDs from John Mellencamp and Keith Greeninger.
Doug Lewis Show is underwritten by Hook, Line and Sinker; and St. Thomas Radiology Associates.
