Aug. 13, 2008 – Gilberto Belardo Sr., also known as "Pavi," of Eliza's Retreat died on Aug. 9. He was 84 years old.
He is survived by his spouse, Carmen Belardo; daughters: Dolores D’abreu, Carmencita Suarez and Daria Knight; sons: Fidel and Gilberto Jr. Belardo; grandchildren: Joshua and Omar D’abreu, Vanessa Suarez-Segedy, Kaisha and Emerald Knight, Mardel, Andres, Davia, Demaris and Gislynn Belardo, Ashley and Nelson Jr. Garcia: and great-grandchildren: Karyn, Jessenia and Joshua Jr. D’abreu, Kaycia and K’Liyah Davis. He is also survived by sister, Gloria Gordon; brother, Carmelo Belardo; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 10 a.m., on Monday, Aug. 18, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, followed by a service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
