What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

Aug. 12, 2008 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM from 1-3 p.m., on Sunday, Aug. 17. This Sunday we will feature music by Ringo Starr and the All Starr Band, Davis Coen, Patsy Cline, Steppenwolf, John Lee Hooker, the Refugees and more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band Live in 2006." Ringo does some of his solo hits as well as some of his Beatle songs. This version of the constantly changing All Starr Band includes Sheila E and Richard Marx among others.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "Blue Lights for Yours and Mine" from talented and rising blues-artist Davis Coen.
We play new music from Catherine MacClellan, Dar Williams, Samuel James, the Refugees and more.
We also play music from Patsy Cline, Steppenwolf, Kathy Mattea and more.
We celebrate the birthdays of blues icons John Lee Hooker and Luther Allison, former Lone Justice vocalist Maria Mckee, Rod MacDonald, Kevin Welch and guitar wizard Eric Johnson.
We include music from Barefoot Davis and his band and Outlaws in Paradise, who will be performing live at the St. Thomas Chili Cook-off on Aug. 17.

We give away CDs from talented singer-songwriter Amy Speace, Canadian roots-and-blues artist Colin Linden, and CDs from Eric Johnson and blues pianist Luis Colona.
