Aug. 7, 2008 – Troy Winston Joseph, formerly of St. Croix but last resided in New York, died on July 26. He was 43 years old.
He is survived by his mother, Lorraine Slater-Joseph; father, Hewlett C. Joseph; daughter, Simonique Joseph; companion, Dawn Samuel; and grandchildren: Husani Joseph, and Jazara Joseph-Charles. He is also survived by sister, Linda Lorna Joseph; brother, Alvin Joseph; aunts: Janice Richards, Gloria Lewis, Joyce Carier, Kathleen Edwards, Carloine Slater, Edith Joseph and Bernice Harris; uncles: Urvin Joseph, Stoval Slater, Rudolph Meyers, Nevelle Porter, Keith Porter, Alwyn A. Baptiste Sr., Deanroy Baptiste, Newland Joseph, Fitzroy Mills and Kenneth Porter; and special friend, Stephanie McIntosh-Luis; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 10 a.m., on Friday, Aug. 15, at the Lord God of Sabboth Lutheran Church. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., at the church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
