Aug. 5, 2008 – Douglas Emmanuel Thompson Sr. of Estate Jealousy died on July 29.
He is survived by his mother, Clara Thomas; daughter, Masherry Thompson; sons: Douglas Jr., Abel, Terry and Elijah Thompson; grandchildren: Jah-nye Emanuel Thompson, Douglas Emmanuel Thompson III, Shenequa and Shamal Creighton, Shaquan James, Nehmiah, Hezekiah Thompson and Telecla Thompson; and great-grandchild, Davari Jones. He is also survived by sisters: Rainell Thompson-Jones, Alicia Thomas, Sharon Tutein, Urinah Thomas, Jenice Thomas-Reynold and Demaris Ballentine-Seales; brothers: Joseph Thomas Jr., Austin Thomas, Darnley Thurnhill, Rodney Thomas and Theophael Thomas; adopted brother, Kijahkazi Thomas; aunt, Cathrine Rawlins; special friend, Alphonso Matudi Reynolds, as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 10 a.m., on Thursday, Aug. 7, at St. Luke's AME Church, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
