CAHS Announces Reporting Schedule for Students

Aug. 4, 2008 – Orientation and class schedule distribution will take place at the Charlotte Amalie High School from Aug. 18 – 20, according to Principal Carmen Howell. Students must report to the mandatory sessions in proper school uniform and be accompanied by their parents in the school's Ruth E. Thomas auditorium."
Howell said that students must present a photocopy of their updated immunization record and be prepared to make payment for the following fees: picture ID, $10; school accident insurance, $14; PTSA dues, $10; and an assignment book, $6. Students who do not wish to purchase accident insurance must present a photocopy of an insurance card (front and back) from a policy under which they are covered. All outstanding obligations from the prior school year must be resolved before receiving a schedule.
The reporting schedule is as follows:
Monday, Aug. 18 – 8 a.m.—-All 9th graders with last names beginning with A-L
Monday, Aug. 18 – noon——All 9th graders with last names beginning with M-Z
Tuesday, Aug. 19 – 12:30 p.m. —All 10th graders
Wednesday, Aug. 20 – 8 a.m. —–All 12th graders
Wednesday, Aug. 20 – noon——–All 11th graders and all S.P.I.S. and M.I.S. IV special needs students
Monday, Aug. 25 – 8:10 a.m. —Classes begin for all students
