Recycling Association Schedules August Meeting

Aug. 1, 2008 – The St. Croix Recycling Association will meet from 6-7 p.m., on Tuesday, Aug. 5, at the Florence Williams Public Library in Christiansted. It will be held in the 2nd floor conference room. The meeting is open to the public.
The organization is a grassroots effort to promote recycling on St. Croix. The mission is to establish a thriving community of recyclers dedicated to conserving resources through the implementation of comprehensive programs that result in waste reduction, reuse and recycling. The vision is that all residents and visitors will some day engage in waste reduction practices by supporting and participating in recycling programs in the territory.
