RHCA Cuts Ribbon to Open Nature Trail

Aug. 1, 2008 – The Red Hook Community Alliance Inc. (RHCA) invites the public to a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Red Hook Salt Pond Nature Trail to be held at 9:30 a.m., on Monday, Aug. 11, at the entrance to the trail at the west end of the pond, near the St. John Cargo Ferry Road entrance).
A beach brunch celebration will follow the ceremony from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on the south side of the pond's sandy beach.

Parking suggestions: East End Plaza across the street from the pond (fee charged). Parking lot at IEKHS entrance ($5). Free parking at the lot west of the IEKHS (short walk through Red Hook village to the pond).
