Swimming Association to Have a Family Fun Splash

The St. Thomas Swimming Association Inc. presents a Family Fun Splash from noon to 6 p.m., on Sunday, Aug. 17, at the pool next to the National Guard Armory. There will be activities, including: face painting, bouncer, games and prizes. There will be a swim competition and swimming for everyone. Bathing suits are required, and swimmers under age 18 must have a signed waiver from a parent or guardian; food and drinks will be on sale. Ariel the Little Mermaid will make an appearance, and the JDPP Jammers and the Sho-Lyne Band will perform live.
