Criminal Justice Degree Programs Offered at UVI

July 11, 2008 – The University of the Virgin Islands is offering a Criminal Justice Associate and Bachelor of Science degree program to V.I. Police Department employees, both sworn and civilian. Scholarships are available, according to a press release from Acting Police Commissioner Novelle Francis Jr.
Members of the VIPD are urged to complete applications for admission immediately. Applications are available on UVI's Web site at www.uvi.edu or contact Dean of UVI Humanities and Social Sciences Division Dr. Malik Sekou at 693-1261 or e-mail him at msekou@uvi.edu Interested persons can also contact the VIPD Human Relations director at 772-2171.
The VIPD and UVI remind police officers that tuition remains free for military veterans. Military veterans can take any course at UVI at no cost.
