Diageo Deal Benefits Everyone, But Lines No Pockets

Dear Source,
I must agree with Deana & Gov. John deJongh jr.
The Governor has presented the Virgin Islands with a excellent deal!
He is also correct in saying campaign lobbying senators not to approve the agreement, are some of "the most shameful displays of political deceit and dishonesty I have ever witnessed,"
The Governor is a businessman, help him to help us!
We cannot continue to be business unfriendly to benefit a chosen few.
If the territory misses this golden opportunity the Governor negotiated on Our behalf, because it didn`t go through the process of lining some peoples pockets here, what a shame that would be!
I truly feel that Gov. John deJongh Jr. has the Virgin Island people’s best interests first & foremost.
Donald Rand, St. Thomas
