Registration Open for Learn-It Intense Summer School

July 2, 2008 – Registration has begun for the 2008 Learn-It Intense Summer School and Enrichment Program for students in grades two through nine who did not perform at necessary achievement levels on the Virgin Islands Territorial Assessment of Learning (VITAL). Applications are currently available between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., through Tuesday, July 8, at the Office of the Insular Superintendent, located at 2133 Hospital Street in Christiansted, according to a press release from St. Croix Superintendent of Schools Gary Molloy.
Classes will be held from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 9 through Friday, Aug. 1, at the Claude O. Markoe, Charles H. Emanuel and Juanita Gardine Elementary Schools. Students are required to wear their school uniforms to the summer classes.
The program is free of charge to all students. The district's Summer Feeding Program will provide lunches for all participants daily.
