WTJX Channel 12 Honored with Three 'Telly Awards'

June 24, 2008 – The television industry has honored WTJX Channel 12 with three "Telly Awards" this spring. The Virgin Islands public station was singled out from among 14,000 entries from all 50 states and 30 countries from around the world. Previous winners include HBO, The History Channel and the Discovery Channel.
The Telly is one of the most prestigious awards in advertising, video and film production in the country, according to a press release from the V.I. Public Television System WTJX Channel 12 and DT-44.
The prestigious awards will be presented at 5:30 p.m., on Thursday, June 26, at the studios of WTJX at Haypiece Hill, St. Thomas.
