BIR Curtails Operations Remainder of Week

June 24, 2008 – The Virgin Islands Bureau of Internal Revenue informs the public that it has curtailed its operations in the main office on St. Thomas for the remainder of this week. Taxpayers are advised that the bureau is accepting all methods of payments on the 2nd floor of the BIR office in Long Bay, near Mandela Circle, according to Gizette L. Thomas, director of BIR.
BIR apologizes for any inconvenience that this reduction in services may cause. The public will be advised when the bureau resumes normal operations.
