SEA Plans Visit to Bird Sanctuary

June 20, 2008 – St. Croix Environmental Association members invite the public to join them on a visit to a bird rehabilitation center from 10 a.m. to noon, on Saturday, June 28. Toni Lance, certified falconer and bird rehabilitation expert, will guide the participants and introduce them to her current residents, including a peregrine falcon that has lost part of a wing. This is a very special opportunity for an up-close look at birds usually seen only from afar.
Donations appreciated to help feed the birds. Pre-registration required; for information, call SEA at 773-1989.
