Memorial Service Planned for Dustin Isaac Rhodes

May 25, 2008 – A memorial service will be held for Dustin Isaac Rhodes, 26 years old, at 6 p.m., on Thursday, May 29, at Government House, Christiansted, St. Croix.
Born in Wichita, Kansas, he grew up in Augusta, and moved to St. Croix in 2004.
He's survived by his fiancé, Iotha Prince; father, Earl E. Rhodes; mother, Deborah Sceley; adopted mother, Jacqueline Greenidge; brother, Christopher LeBlanc; and sister, Sherry Bolin. He is also survived by aunts and uncles: Susan Bolin, Bill Fike, Tom and Michelle Marthe, Dr. Ellis and Sue Ann Clay, Vic and Shirley Hann; adopted aunt, Viola H. Albert; and adopted grandmother, Josephine Ottley.
Dustin was a dedicated EMT, who volunteered with V.I. Department of Health for three years before becoming a full time staff member. He worked with CRÈME as an associate/instructor. He also worked at Wheel Coach Services and Pinnacle as an EMT, Wyatt VI as a boilermaker and safety technician, and at St. Croix Leap. His gentle smile and humble bedside manner were his trademarks.
