St. Thomas-St. John District to Present Communication Arts Show

The St. Thomas-St. John Public School District will present its first Communication Arts Showcase Mega Show at 7 p.m., on Saturday, May 24, at the Reichhold Center for the Arts featuring the theme: "Express Yourself!"
"The Mega Show is an excellent opportunity for the entire community to witness the talent of our students with the guidance of wonderful coaches and teachers.
"We are also very pleased to have a special guest performances by our very own, Shawntay Henry, the 2008 National Poetry Out Loud Champion; the outstanding performers of the 2nd Annual Shakespeare Festival; and the We the People Book Talk finalists from both the St. Thomas-St. John and St. Croix Districts," said Cedelle Niles, district language arts coordinator.
Participating schools include: E. Benjamin Oliver Elementary, Yvonne E. Milliner-Bowsky Elementary, Joseph Gomez Elementary, Jane E. Tuitt Elementary, Leonard Dober Elementary School, Guy Benjamin Elementary, Evelyn E. Marcelli Elementary, Ulla F. Muller Elementary, and Julius Sprauve Schools; the Bertha C. Bochulte Middle School, Addelita Cancryn Junior High, Charlotte Amalie High and Ivanna Eudora Kean High Schools.
Admission is $15, $10 and $5. Tickets can be purchased only at the following ticket outlets: Modern Music, Island Video, Krystal and Gifts Galore, Home Again and the Reichhold Center for the Arts box office.
