May 8, 2008 – FirstBank has successfully completed the conversion of the former VICB branches to FirstBank branches, which will be maintained as part of its network on St. Croix. At this time, all deposit accounts, including checking, savings and certificates of deposit accounts, as well as safe deposit and night deposit services, have been converted to FirstBank products. In addition, all credit accounts, including installment loans, auto loans, home equity loans and home equity lines of credit, mortgage loans and business loans, have been transferred to FirstBank products. All electronic transactions including direct deposit of payroll, social security and other pension benefits and other previously established recurring transactions would remain unchanged.
