Caribbean Surf Company Carnival Mile Planned

April 16, 2008 – The 2008 Caribbean Surf Company Carnival Mile race will be run at 7:30 a.m., on Saturday, April 26. It will start on Main Street at Western Cemetery and end at Roosevelt Park.
Prizes for overall winners and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers will be given in the following age groups:
The Total Camp Experience 12-and-under Mile
The DH Printer 13 – 19 Mile
The Jackson Complex 20 – 29 Mile
The Jackson Complex 30 – 30 Mile
The STAR Founders 40 – 49 Mile
The STAR Founders 50 – 59 Mile
The Mario Watlington 60-and-over Mile
Runners can pre-register at The Caribbean Surf Company Havensight, Mail Royal Dane Mall, Red Hook Shopping Center or the Antilles School's Jackson Complex Wellness Center.
Race Day registration is from 6:30-7 a.m., April 26. Fees are $10 for adults, $5 for youth, and $5 for STAR (St. Thomas Association of Roadrunners) members. The first 100 entrants will receive a Carnival Mile T-shirt. All proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross of the Virgin Islands.
