Friends of the Florence Williams Public Library sponsor four events for the month of April. All of them emphasize the joy of literature and reading.
Saturday, April 19 – There will be a block party at the Florence Williams Public Library from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Activities will include: story telling, a performance of "The Book Worm" by Good Hope School, the John Woodson Junior High Pan Band, the Quadrille Dancers from Pearl B. Larsen, the St. Mary's Pan Band, Pearl B. Larsen Sabrositas, a book sale, bookmobile, face painting and animal balloons.
