Joint Energy Hearing–What About St. Thomas?

Dear Source:

The Joint Energy Hearing on St. Croix is of great interest to me. Will the hearing continue in St. Thomas? I wish to take issue with the suggestion that alternative forms of energy are problematic for the islands. Solar panels are developed to be virtually unaffected by winds. Connecting to a stateside grid just continues our dependence on oil. With this much sunshine, it is ridiculous not to use it. I hope that Congress can help us financially with this endeavor. It is just too expensive for most residents to install their own solar panel systems.
