Dear Source:
One last comment on iguanas from Great Cruz Bay on St. John: The bacteria iguanas carry is salmonella, look it up! I doubt if Ms. De la Cruz has witnessed 30-40 adult iguanas on a ½ acre home site and the massive amounts of droppings they make or the destruction they cause. When people feed animals out of "kindness" the natural balance is disrupted.
Oh, and iguanas are indigenous to the rainforests of Northern Mexico and SE Brazil, look it up!
