April 1, 2008 – James A. Weeks of Estate Carlton Gardens died on Saturday, March 29, at his residence. He was 89 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Eglantine D. Weeks; son, James E. Weeks; daughters: Joan Weeks-Lateef and Jo-ann Weeks-Titus; grandchildren: Malcolm, Tulanie and Diallo Weeks and Makeda Titus; and great- grandchildren: Jacari and Naya Weeks. He is also survived by sister, Marion Weeks Burrell; brother, Herman Weeks; nieces: Carla and Karen Burrell; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place from 10-11 a.m., on Wednesday, April 9, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Frederiksted Cemetery.
