St. Croix Animal Welfare Center Will Hold Charity Sale

The St. Croix Animal Welfare Center is having a “Shop ‘till You Drop to Stop Pet Overpopulation” event that will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Saturday, April 5, at the SCAWC Flea Market, No. 18 Estate Orange Grove.
Shoppers will find bargains and additional bonus events including a clearance sale, bake sale, 50/50 raffle and pet adoption information booth.
The flea market benefits the work of the center, which provides humane education programs, a low-cost spay and neuter program, and animal control and protection services on St Croix.
Charity donations are sought to support the event and the ongoing mission of the SCAWC Flea Market. Donations are welcome during store hours, which are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday. The picking up of large items, such as furniture, is available Wednesday and Friday afternoons.
To schedule a pick up or for more information about donations, contact the flea market at 692-5335.
For additional details or to volunteer for this event, contact Gretchen Sherrill, SCAWC communications director, at 514-6326.
