Jehovah's Witnesses Will Commemorate Jesus' Death on Saturday

March 20, 2008 – The Christian congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses will commemorate Jesus' death at their meeting places, known as Kingdom Halls, throughout the Virgin Islands on Saturday, March 22, in obedience to Jesus' command in Luke 22:19: "Keep doing this in remembrance of me."
Meeting times are as follows:

St. Croix
Kingdom Hall at 23C North Carlton Road, Frederiksted:
Times: English service at 8 p.m.; Spanish service at 6 p.m.; American sign language at 8 p.m. (same location)
Kingdom Hall at No. 7 Orange Grove, Christiansted (behind First Bank)
Times: English service at 6:00 p.m.; Spanish service at 8 p.m.
St. Thomas
Kingdom Hall at 28 Lower John Dunkoe, Charlotte Amalie
Times: English service at 6:30 p.m.; Creole service at 6:30 p.m. (same location); American Sign Language at 8 p.m.; Spanish service at 8 p.m. (same location); 2nd English Service at 7 p.m. at Mark Marin Center, Antilles School
St. John
Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 5-6 Estate Pastory, Cruz Bay, St. John
Times: English service at 7 p.m.; Spanish service at 8:30 p.m.

Jesus' death is an event that changed the history of the world and proved to be the greatest demonstration of love. Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Jesus' death affects every person in that it offers a true hope for a peaceful world. If anyone wants to find how His death affects him and others, then you are encouraged to attend any of these meetings in the language you please and at the time most convenient for you, according to Willmar Acevedo of Frederiksted.
Admission is free and no collections will be taken.

The schedule is based on load demand and subject to change. 1:00 am – 3:00 am Feeders 5A, 6A and 8A will be impacted | 3:00 am – 5:00 am Feeders 10B, 6B and 7B will be impacted | 5:00 am – 7:00 am Feeders 8B, 7E and 9C will be impacted | 8:00 am - 10:00 am Feeders 9E, 7C and 6A will be impacted.
