WAPA, For Crying Out Loud!

Dear Source:

How lovely to know that WAPA is now proposing to double commercial customers' deposits in order to offset the delinquencies of others. Here we go again, penalizing the private sector while the government continuously fails to make good on its multimillion-dollar debt.
In the same breath, the legislature nixes a proposal to discharge that debt while blathering on about how government offices must strive to reduce energy consumption, something the private sector struggles with on a day to day basis while enduring increasing costs and appliance-killing outages and brownouts.
To add gross insult to injury, on the very day (last Saturday) that the recent WAPA increase of over 20% went into effect, the power went off for a couple of hours and continued to go on and off in various locations through the next morning. I guess the fat cats in the legislature weren't inconvenienced as their expensive generators (which small business owners, along with the majority of the population, can't afford) smoothly kicked in.
For crying out loud!
