Christian Science Society to Hold Bible Lessons

Nov. 28, 2007 – The Christian Science Society of St. Thomas and St. John will hold services and Bible lessons on the following dates:
Bible lesson at 10:45 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 2: "Affirming God's Good Truth; Denouncing Evil, Deceit, Dishonesty."
Testimony meeting at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 5: "Acknowledging the Gift for the Holiday Season."
Bible lesson, Sunday, Dec. 9: "God the Only Cause and Creator."
Wednesday meetings will focus on selections from the Bible, and from science and health with "Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. It will also include testimonies of healing by spiritual means alone given by the congregation. No collection is taken at the Wednesday evening testimony meetings.
The Christian Science Society of St. Thomas-St. John's services take place at The Market Place in the Conference Center, on the third level. There are elevators available. Transportation will be available to pick up visitors from St. Thomas arriving from the 10 a.m. ferry from Red Hook or other arrangements from the ferry from downtown Charlotte Amalie Waterfront.
