Nov. 19, 2007 – Veronica Simmonds, also known as "Yvonne," of LBJ Gardens died on Nov. 15, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 64 years old.
She is survived by her husband, Christopher V. Simmonds; daughter, Donna Garnette; sons: Valdemar S. Simmonds and Dion U. Simmonds; grandchildren: Imarisce Simmonds, Malik Garnette and Behanca Garnette. She is also survived by sisters: Stephanie, Rosalyn and Cicely; brothers: Oswald, Dennis and Johny; aunts: Jene and Egalantine; uncle, Benjamin Williams; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 10-10:30 a.m., on Monday, Nov. 26, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at the Kingshill Cemetery.
