Nov. 19, 2007 – Doreen Barnes of White Bay died on Nov. 15, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 63 years old.
She is survived by her mother, Almira McIntosh; daughters: Sherleen Barnes-Melendez, Denise Barnes-Dorville, Michelle Barnes-Naton and Sandra Barnes-George; sons: Alejandro Navarro Jr., Neal Barnes and Andre Pemberton; companion: Austin Joseph; grandchildren: Rasheeda Gonzales, Juan M., Alex and Arielle Melendez, Shakira Navarro, Alejandro Navarro III, Natash and Nahim Barnes, Tishannah Nanton, Shaniyah George, Deandre and Kiandra Pemberton. She is also survived by sister, Sherrill E. Richardson; aunts: Ima Lindquist, Sylvia and Joyce Christian, Ann. L. Jackson and Mildred Williams; uncles: Renholdt Jackson, Raphael, Darwin and Almeric Christian; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 9-10 a.m., on Friday, Nov. 23, at Friedensberg Moravian Church in Frederiksted, and the funeral service will follow at 10 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at the Frederiksted Cemetery.
