The Parade That Wasn't

Dear Source:
What a disappointment. We took a first time visitor to the Jazz Fest on Sat. night because there was advertised a parade and Moko Jumbies, at 5:30. Well as usual our someone messed up and there was no parade and no Moko Jumbies, yet is was advertised in the book and schedule……Our guest really wanted to see the Moko Jumbies and I am sure many others did too. She was so disappointed.
I spoke to a policeman and he said he didn't think there would be a parade although King St. was set up for a parade. Who was responsible for printing and organizing the event? We did enjoy the band playing on the waterfront…
