Cruise Ship Reporting Missed the Boat

Dear Source:

The glowing report about the recent cruise ship stopover in Frederiksted seems to be at odds with the comments of several local people, heard on WVWI yesterday.
Their comment was that the only music was a steel pan band, the merchants were not prepared for the occasion and the whole effect was mediocre.
This was topped off by one of the passengers drowning.
Somethng seems to be amiss in reporting.
